If any person suffers physical or mental harm due to the misuse or unauthorized publication or distribution of voter-related information collected by the commission or information provided by the commission under section 22, the person who suffers such loss shall be compensated by the person causing the loss. can claim.
(2) According to sub-section (1), the claim for compensation must be made in the relevant district court within six months of the loss.
(3) If the claim under sub-section (2) is found to be correct, the district court shall pay reasonable compensation to such person.
(4) Other procedures related to compensation under this section shall be in accordance with prevailing laws.
