(1) According to section 3, the Government of Nepal shall determine the fair amount of compensation to the registered owner of Khark land which has been nationalized on the recommendation of the committee constituted by the rules. In such a committee, the relevant ………… local village chairman or their representative will also be there.
(2) The goods office shall post a notice for the information of the concerned registrants to collect the amount of compensation as per sub-section (1).
(3) Within one year from the date of posting of the notice as per sub-section (2), the registrant shall submit an application to the relevant goods office, attaching proof of his entitlement to compensation. But if a person does not come to file an application even within one year after the notification has been suspended, no claim will be made after the compensation.
(4) The goods office will give compensation to the registrants in accordance with sub-section (3) after necessary investigation. However, if there is a question regarding the right to receive compensation or the amount of compensation, the goods office will have to pay compensation as determined by the court.
