(1) The amount of compensation to be given in accordance with sub-section (4) of section 17 or sub-section (4) of section 18 shall be as determined by the "road department or provincial government" in the presence of the relevant ward member of the local rural municipality or municipality.
(2) A person who is not satisfied with the compensation determined in accordance with sub-section (1) may file a complaint with the Government of Nepal within thirty-five days of receiving the notification that he will receive such compensation.
