(1) In order to determine the compensation to be given in accordance with Section 26 or 27 of the Act, there shall be a Compensation Determination Committee as follows -
(a) At least the gazetted second grade officer of the Ministry designated by the Ministry - Chairman
(b) concerned technician or expert designated by the Ministry – Member
(c) Representative of concerned local body – Member
(d) Representative of the concerned licensee – Member
(e) The person designated by the Ministry from among the consumers - member.
(2) The procedure to be adopted by the Compensation Determination Committee in relation to determining the compensation shall be determined by the said committee itself.
