Section 33
to be compensated
If the publication seized according to this Act is not a restricted publication or a prohibited publication or if the charge for which it was confiscated is not proved, the publisher or owner shall receive compensation from the Government of Nepal as follows:-
(a) In case of confiscation of a publication with a specified price, the publisher or owner will not receive compensation if the book is taken back by the publisher or the owner of the book without increasing the amount equal to the actual price that the publisher or the owner can get when selling such publication.
(b) In the case of other materials for which the price is not quoted, without increasing the actual cost incurred in obtaining or publishing such material.
