: If a worker or employee is injured in an accident while doing work prescribed by the tea plantation, even after treatment for one year, such worker or employee does not recover his health, or is unable to work in the tea plantation because of such an accident. If certified by a doctor recognized by the Government of Nepal, the manager may retire him from service by giving him compensation as per rule 16 and gratuity as per this rule.
