(1) In relation to the land registered in the name of the farmer according to section 3, the amount calculated to be ten times the value of the land should be paid by the concerned farmer to the owner of the land as a lump sum or in installments up to five times within five years from the date of land registration.

But:-
(a) If the farmer agrees to pay the compensation in one lump sum, and if the farmer agrees to pay in installments, the first installment must be paid by the time the land is registered in his name, and each subsequent installment must be paid within 1 year from the date of payment of the previous installment.

( b) The farmer can pay any installment before the due date.

(2) If the farmer does not pay the compensation amount to the land owner, within fifteen days from the expiry of the due date, the farmer shall deposit the amount in the warehouse of the area. can be kept and according to that, if the farmer brings the deposit, the warehouse should also accept it and give him a receipt.

(3) If the farmer puts a deposit under sub-section (2), it will be considered as if he has paid the amount of compensation to the landowner.

(4) According to sub-section (2), if the farmer deposits the amount of compensation, the warehouse should give the information to the land owner. If the amount is collected within thirty-five days from the date of receiving the notice, the warehouse should hand it over to the land owner. If the owner of the land does not come to collect it within that period, the amount will be charged to the Government of Nepal.

(5) Apart from the first installment, if the other installments to be paid according to sub-section (1) are not paid within the period, the land registered in the name of the farmer according to section 3 shall be related according to the prevailing Nepalese laws. The mall should increase the auction and according to that, the land owner will get the money raised when the auction is increased.
