Section 110
<br> which may instruct the account to be withheld
The National Bank may, at any time, instruct the concerned bank or financial institution to freeze the account so that no payment or transfer of money can be made to any person, firm, company or organization from the account in any bank or financial institution in the following cases:-(a ) If the authorized officer makes a request to the National Bank in connection with the investigation of any crime, (b) To resolve the crime related to money laundering and financial investment in terrorist activities, to maintain the national interest by controlling corruption, organized crime and criminal acts that may occur in banking and financial institution transactions. (2) It shall be the duty of the concerned bank or financial institution to comply with the instructions given by the National Bank in accordance with sub-section (1).
