Rule 11
Conditions to be followed while carrying out searches
The conditions to be followed while carrying out searches will be as follows:-
(a) To follow a sound system and to adopt a diligent and efficient manner while conducting search operations.
(b) Do not cause damage to houses, land, trees, valuables or other property within the area mentioned in the search permit.
(c) If any archaeological object is found in the course of the search, the object should be preserved and reported to the concerned district administration office and department as soon as possible.
(d) Within 30 days from the date of completion of the exploration work, any wall or fence should be erected on the hollow, chank, topa or filled land in the area mentioned in the permit.
(e) To remove all his belongings from the area mentioned in the permit within one hundred and eighty days from the date of expiry of the search operation.
(f) Not being able to sell and distribute minerals obtained in the course of prospecting.
