After receiving the application in accordance with Rule 6, the department shall, after making necessary inquiries and deeming it appropriate to issue a permit to the person making the application, take the form as per Schedule-4 and issue a search permit in the format as per Schedule-5.
(2) According to sub-rule (1), the applicant himself or his representative shall submit the permit within thirty days from the date of notification of the department's decision to grant the permit.
(3) If the permit is surrendered within the period as per sub-rule (2), the permit shall automatically be cancelled.
