Section 30
Duties, Duties and Powers of the Governor
(1) The work, duties and powers of the governor shall be as follows:- (a) To implement the decisions made by the committee. (b) To operate and manage the bank. To represent, to cause. (e) To implement and cause policies related to monetary and foreign exchange. or determining the necessary policy regarding the interest rate to be given. (h) Formulating the policy related to liquidity to be maintained by commercial banks and financial institutions. (j) Determining the conditions related to the adequacy of the capital fund of commercial banks and financial institutions. (d) Establishing and closing branch offices and other offices of the bank as required. Making necessary arrangements regarding the supervision of banks and financial institutions. (d) Making decisions regarding the cancellation of licenses granted to commercial banks and financial institutions. The authority to be exercised will be vested in the Governor.
