Rule 19
Special arrangements related to livestock protection
: (1) If requested by the fund, the relevant animal service office will make necessary arrangements so that livestock can be health tested and marked leashed at the place where livestock is bought and sold.
(2) A livestock farmer who has been health tested and given a signal leash in accordance with sub-rule (1) may submit an application to the fund through the relevant member organization along with the protection fee as per rule 11 within seven days from the date of delivery of such livestock to the destination.
(3) If the fund examines the application received in accordance with sub-rule (2), if it is found to be illegal, it shall issue a security letter for such livestock within fifteen days.
