(1) For the management, supervision and coordination of schools operating within the rural municipality or municipality, there shall be a village education or city education committee in each rural municipality or municipality as follows:-

(a) Chairperson of the rural municipality or the head of the municipality or the person appointed to do that work - chairman

(b) Rural municipality or the municipality designated by the municipality or Two members including at least one woman from among the members of the municipality - member

(c) One member nominated by the district education committee from among the chairpersons of the management committee of the schools in the respective rural municipality or municipality area - member

(d) Three members including one Dalit and two women nominated from the village education committee or city education committee from among local social workers or education lovers

(e) Two members including at least one woman nominated by the concerned rural municipality or municipality from among the principals of community and institutional schools within the concerned rural municipality or municipality area

(f) A person with a disability nominated by the Village Education Committee or the City Education Committee to be represented by a school conducting special education, inclusive education or resource classes in the relevant rural municipality or municipality, or a disability-related educational institution - one member. "padding-left: 30px;">(g) In case of village education committee, concerned resource person and in case of city education committee, concerned school inspector-member-secretary

(1a) Principals of schools within rural municipality or municipal area and Nepal A representative of the teachers' federation will be invited as an observer in the meeting of the committee as per sub-section (1). If the nominated member does not behave according to his position, the nominating officer or body can remove him at any time.

However, before removing him from the position, he shall not be deprived of the opportunity to submit his explanation.

(3) ) Other work, duties, rights and meeting procedures of village education or city education committee shall be as prescribed.
