(1) According to section 9 and 10, all types of documents and records, including doctor's opinions and approvals provided by the pregnant woman to the concerned health workers or health institutions, shall be kept safely by the concerned doctors or health workers and health institutions. Such records and the transactions mentioned therein shall be kept confidential without informing anyone.
(2) Notwithstanding anything written in sub-section (1), the provision of such information and documents or the provision of information mentioned therein shall not be deemed to be hindered in the following cases:-
(a) If information is requested from the investigating officer or the court in connection with the investigation or hearing of any case,
(B) To quote without identifying the associated woman for the purpose of research on safe abortion services.
(c) If the concerned woman herself requests the related records.
(3) While providing the service, the relevant health institution shall prepare and regularly provide the updated details of the service provided by it in the format as per schedule-9 based on the documents created as records in accordance with sub-section (1).
