Rule 4
Details to be taken while identifying the customer
(1) Section 7A of the Act. For the purpose of sub-section (2) of the index organization, while identifying the customer, the following minimum details of the customer shall be taken:-
(a) In relation to a natural person:–
(a) Full name,
(b) Full address of permanent and current residence or working entity and details regarding immediate contact means,
(e) date of birth and sex,
(e) full name of either parent or mother or father,
(u) Nationality,
(o) Any one of the following details according to the type of customer:-
(1) In the case of Nepali citizens, citizenship, voter ID card, driver's license or passport number, date of issue, place of issue and period of validity,
(2) In case of Nepali minor, birth registration certificate or minor identity card number and citizenship or passport number of parent or guardian, date of issue, place of issue and period of validity,
(3) In the case of Nepali citizens who do not have citizenship, recommendation of rural municipality or municipality (4) In case of foreign nationals, passport number, date of issue, place of issue and period of validity,
(5) In the case of Indian citizens who do not have a passport, the number, date, issuing authority and place of the certificate that they are a citizen according to Indian law,
(6) In the case of refugees, the identity card number issued by the relevant government or international agency, date of issue and expiry and place of issue.
(b) in relation to a legal person:–
(a) Name of legal person,
(b) Complete details of registered and business office address, phone, email, website and any other means of contact,
(e) Legal person and type of business,
(e) registration of legal person, permit or license and business permit or certificate of renewal number, date of issue, period of validity, issuing body and country,
(g) The main document, business or main purpose required to obtain registration or permission according to the type of legal entity,
(o) Permanent Account Number or similar certificate number issued by the Government for tax purposes,
(a) AccumulationIf there is a board or management committee or any other committee formed for similar functions, the personal details of its officers and senior managers,
(A) Personal details of the proprietor or partner or shareholder holding ten percent or more ownership of the legal entity,
(o) Personal details of the account holder,
(b) In the case of a legal person who owns ten percent or more shares of a legal person, details of the person who holds ten percent or more shares of such legal person.
(c) In relation to legal arrangements:–
(a) Name, main purpose and function of the legal arrangement,
(B) Full details of the country of registration or establishment and operation of the legal arrangement and its address, phone, email, website and any other means of contact,
(e) registration, permit or license and business permit or certificate of renewal number, date of issue, period of validity, details of issuing body and country,
(e) the name and full address of the trustee, controller, custodian or settlor and permanent residence or place of business and means of immediate contact,
(g) Permanent Account Number or similar certificate number issued by a government agency for tax purposes,
(o) the name and address of the beneficiary,
(a) Account Holder's Personal Details.
(2) Notwithstanding anything written in sub-rule (1), when identifying a customer of a government agency or organization or an intergovernmental international organization, the reporting organization shall obtain the relevant agency's or organization's account or decision to conduct business, the authority issued in connection with financial transactions, and the account operator's personal details. .
(3) The indicator organization shall make necessary additional arrangements to identify the customer according to the customer, transaction, sector, product, service, payment method and its risk.
(4) When opening a customer's account, the indexing organization shall take a photocopy of the customer's signature subject to prevailing laws. But in the case of non-financial professionals or businessmen, it will be as prescribed by the relevant regulatory body.
