Section 489
To be done in case of loss of household documents or uncontrollable circumstances

(1) If the document in the house is lost or destroyed due to uncontrollable circumstances, the creditor shall submit an application to the relevant local level within fifteen days from the date of the document's loss or uncontrollable circumstances.
(2) If an application is received according to sub-section (1), the concerned local level shall pay the compensation in writing and affix the stamp of the office and give the compensation to the person making the application.
(3) If there is an application according to sub-section (1), the local level shall send the document to him or his immediate family within seven days, if he is alive, and if he approves, prepare the document as mentioned above and certify such document and give it to the person making the application.
(4) If the person who gives the document according to sub-section (3) does not agree to give another document to the person whose document is lost or circumstances beyond his control, the creditor shall within thirty-five days after the expiration of such deadline show evidence of the document lost or circumstances beyond his control and assert his right.
