: (1) For the purpose of increasing the productivity of the forest, any part of the forest managed by the government may be demarcated by the Government of Nepal and managed as Chakala Forest.
(2) Sub-section (1) The Chakala forest to be managed by the Government of Nepal may also be managed in partnership with the private sector for a specified period on the basis of competition as specified.
(3) In accordance with sub-section (1) and (2) for the management of Chakala forest, the action plan shall be approved and implemented in accordance with section 20.
(4) According to sub-section (2), the cost of Chakala forest managed in partnership with the private sector and the distribution of forest produce will be as prescribed.
(5) Chakala forest managed in partnership with the private sector as per sub-section (2) shall be transferred to the Government of Nepal free of charge after the expiry of such period.
