Rule 15
Compensation in case of injury
: (1) If any worker or employee of the tea plantation suffers bodily injury while doing work prescribed by the tea plantation, the manager shall compensate all the expenses incurred for the purpose of treating such worker or employee according to the recommendation of a doctor recognized by the Government of Nepal.
(2) If a worker or employee who is injured while doing the work prescribed by the tea plantation is unable to work immediately and needs to be treated in a hospital or at home according to the recommendation of a doctor, in addition to the compensation given as per sub-rule (1), if he is treated in a hospital, he will be given full wages for that period and stay at home. If treatment is provided, the manager will also have to pay half of the salary for that period. However, if treatment is required for a period of more than one year, the manager will not be required to pay any remuneration for such a longer period.
