: (1) If the head of the office suspects that any animal, animal product or animal product material is contaminated, he may enter any place where such animal, animal product or animal product product is kept and conduct an investigation.
(2) According to sub-section (1) during the examination of animals, animal products or animal product materials, if it is found to be infected with the diseases prescribed by the Government of Nepal by publishing a notice in the Nepal Gazette in accordance with section 10, the head of the office shall order the removal or destruction of such animal, animal products or animal product materials.
(3) If the concerned owner does not remove or destroy the animals, animal products or animal products according to sub-section (2), the head of the office himself may remove or destroy such animals, animal products or animal products.
(4) According to sub-section (3), all expenses incurred in removing or destroying animals, animal products or animal product materials shall be collected from the respective owner as well as the government balance.
