Section 23
Formation and work, duties of inquiry committee
(1) Before dismissing the governor in accordance with sub-section (2) of section 22, the Government of Nepal shall constitute the following inquiry committee and shall dismiss the Governor on the recommendation of the committee:- (a) A person appointed by the Government of Nepal from among the judges retired from the Supreme Court- President (b) Financial, monetary, Two persons appointed by the Government of Nepal from among prominent people in the fields of banking, finance, commerce and management - members (2) The Investigation Committee may take a statement or inquire with the concerned person before submitting the recommendation to the Nepal Government. (4) The investigation committee shall submit its recommendation to the Government of Nepal within one month with its opinion.
