(1) Even if any act done by the reporting organization or its officers or employees in the course of fulfilling the obligations under this Act is found to be contrary to the financial or professional confidentiality as per the prevailing law, it shall not be considered as violating the prevailing law to the extent of fulfilling the obligations under this Act. (2) For any official or employee of a government agency, indicator organization or any of its officers or employees who provides any report, document, record, information or information in good faith in compliance with this Act or the rules made under this Act or the guidelines issued or instructions given under this Act, he/she shall be liable for confidentiality, administrative or any civil, criminal, administrative or disciplinary action or punishment shall be taken against such official or employee for breaching regulatory obligations or contractual obligations.
