Section 58
Punishment for stopping or opening a stamp or for getting a stamp bag wet or for delay in handing it over
: Any person, in the case of a postal operation, does not deliver any stamp bag or postal article to the specified place, except in accordance with this Act or the order of the Government of Nepal or the order of the authorized officer or the court. If under pretense, he stops or opens or wets the stamp bag or obstructs the employee engaged in handing over stamp or postal items, he will be punished with imprisonment up to three months or a fine of up to five thousand rupees or both.
