In case the accused offense cannot be proved based on the evidence collected during the investigation and investigation according to this Act, the investigation officer may place the complaint with the reason and keep it in remand and the decision to keep it in remand shall be notified to the accused person and the complainant. However, if any new evidence is found later, this section shall not be deemed to be a hindrance to re-investigation and investigation in relation to such complaint.
