(1) The Government of Nepal may publish a notice in the Nepal Gazette and prohibit the construction of any type of permanent structure or building other than a wall within the specified distance of the road boundary in case the road boundary is specified in accordance with section 3, and if the road boundary is not specified, it shall not exceed 6/6 meters from the edge of the public road. . However, in the area where the city development plan is implemented, it will be as per the provisions of the prevailing Nepalese laws.
(2) If any person constructs any kind of permanent structure or building within the prohibited area according to sub-section (1), such structure or building can be demolished by order of the road department. The road department can also pay the expenses incurred in demolishing such structure or building from the concerned person.
