Rule 92
Additional financial aid
(1) If an employee who is in service gets injured in the course of government work or suffers bodily harm while providing health services, or if the employee or his/her spouse has been diagnosed with a disease and recommended by the Medical Board constituted by the Government of Nepal to treat a serious illness at home or abroad. In addition to the medical expenses to be received according to sub-rule (1) of Rule 91, the Government of Nepal may receive additional financial assistance as deemed appropriate on the recommendation of the following committee:-
(a) Secretary to the Ministry of General Administration – Chairman
(b) Secretary to the Ministry of Finance – Member
(c) Secretary to the Ministry – Member
(d) Senior Medical Officer appointed by the Ministry – Member
(e) Head of Medical Services Division of the Ministry - Member Secretary
(2) The committee under sub-rule (1) shall submit a recommendation to the Government of Nepal within seven days from the date of receipt of documents related to additional financial assistance.
