(1) If anyone commits an offense under clause (a) of section 25A, he shall be fined up to three lakh rupees.
(2) Whoever violates section 25A. If he commits an offense under Clause (b) of , he will be punished with imprisonment for up to three months or a fine of 10,000 to 30,000 rupees or both. (3) Whoever violates section 25A. If he commits an offense under clause (c), he will be punished with imprisonment up to one year or with a fine ranging from three thousand rupees to ninety thousand rupees. (4) Whoever violates section 25A. If an offense is committed under Clause (d), the punishment shall be imprisonment from one year to five years or a fine of one lakh rupees to five lakh rupees or both.
(5) Whoever violates section 25A. If he commits an offense under Clause (e), he shall be punished with imprisonment up to three months or a fine of ten thousand to thirty thousand rupees or both and if he has taken the property of a senior citizen, such property shall be returned to the concerned senior citizen.
(6) Whoever violates section 25A. According to Clause (f) of the Act, taking any property of a senior citizen will be punished with imprisonment from one year to five years or fine or both.
(7) The amount of fine as per sub-section (1) shall be deposited in the parent's bank account.
