(1) If someone buys a public document, certifies or verifies something that is not there or commits fraud, he will be punished according to sub-section (3) of section 276 of the Civil Crimes (Code) Act, 2074.

(3) Any industry or inducement to commit an offense under sub-section (1) or (2) shall be punished with half of the punishment for the principal offender.
(4) If anyone has suffered any kind of loss due to the commission of an offense under this section, the offender shall also pay compensation for that.
