(1) A person who violates sub-section (2) of section 6 or sub-section (2) of section 12 shall be punished with imprisonment for a term which may extend to two months or with a fine which may extend to five hundred rupees or with both.
(2) A person who acts in violation of section 10 shall be punished with imprisonment for a term which may extend to three months or with a fine which may extend to five hundred rupees or with both.
(3) A person who acts in violation of section 17 shall be punished with imprisonment up to one year or with a fine of up to one thousand rupees or with both and compensation for the loss shall also be recovered from such person.
(4) Any person who violates any other section of this Act or the rules made under this Act shall be punished with imprisonment for a term which may extend to three months or with a fine which may extend to five hundred rupees or with both.
(5) Tools, vehicles, vehicles and goods related to offenses punishable under this Act shall be confiscated.
