Section 5
Duties, Duties and Powers of Registered Office
(1) The work, duties and powers of the registration office shall be as follows:- (a) To establish a registration record operated by electronic technology for registering notices or any amendments related to notices, details regarding continuation of notices, details regarding termination of notices, details regarding correction of errors and notices regarding the rights of lien holders. (b) If requested by any person, to provide him with information from the records of the registration office as provided in this Act. (c) To publish an annual report of the work done by him within six months of the end of each financial year. (2) Registration In order to carry out any or all of the work done by the office, the government of Nepal may enter into an agreement with a private agency and take assistance as needed to complete the work to be done by the registered office through such agency. Before entering into an agreement with such a body, the registered office shall pay attention to whether such body is capable as follows:- (a) whether such body has sufficient means, manpower, financial and technical means to assist the registered office in the work related to information registration, (b) whether the registered office has maintained Whether the electronic registry is capable of being accessed in accordance with appropriate professional practices.
