(1) Based on the application submitted in accordance with Rule 4, the District Water Resources Committee shall, after conducting the necessary investigation and deeming it appropriate to register the consumer organization, register and issue a certificate of consumer organization registration in the format as per schedule-2.
(2) According to sub-rule (1), if a consumer organization is not found suitable for registration, the District Water Resources Committee shall give a clear reason and inform the applicant within thirty days from the date of application.
(3) Consumer organizations registered in accordance with the prevailing law before the commencement of this regulation shall be deemed to be registered in accordance with this regulation.
