15. Registration

15.1 Small enterprises and traditional household industries must report to the local authorities with a brief description within one month of their operation. The record of such information will be kept by the local body.

15.2 Other industries that do not need permission will register the industry within 15 days from the date of formal application. If the industry cannot be registered due to any reason, such agency shall inform the applicant within 3 days of the reason. According to the capacity, the Environmental Protection Act and the Environmental Protection Regulations set the initial environment examination (Initial Environment Examination-IEE) or environmental impact assessment (Environmental Impact Assessment- EIA) The report should be submitted to the industry registration body. 15.4 The industry registration body will periodically monitor the status of the industry and give advice to the industry if it wants, and provide assistance for operation. Registration and permission will be revoked.

15.5 Initial Environment Examination-IEE by Nepal Government or Environmental Impact Assessment Necessary coordination will be done between the relevant ministries and agencies to formulate the sectoral standards related to Environmental Impact Assessment-EIA.
