Section 687
To be freed from obligations:
Notwithstanding anything contained in Section 685, the manufacturer shall not be liable if the following is proved:-
(a) he did not manufacture, sell or distribute the defective product,
(b) the goods or services produced, imported or sold by him are not defective at the time of manufacture, import or sale or are defective after the sale has been made,
(c) the sale, distribution or sale of goods or services produced by him,
(d) Damage caused by the consumer not following the instructions to be followed while consuming the product or service,
(e) Damage caused by the consumer not consuming the product in the right way or consuming it in a way that should not be done,
(f) Not having scientific and technical knowledge that such goods or services were defective during the production or distribution of goods or services,
