(1) The Government of Nepal can make rules regarding the investigation of accidents that occurred while flying an aircraft over the territory of Nepal or when an aircraft registered within Nepal was flying elsewhere. The rules will come into effect after they are published in the Nepal Gazette.
(2) Without prejudice to the generality of the rights conferred by sub-section (1), the following provisions may be made in said rules:-
(a) notification of accident, form of such notification and person giving such notification,
(b) To apply the provisions of the Nepalese laws which are in force immediately in connection with the investigation of accidents, with or without any modification, in relation to the investigation of such accidents,
(c) prohibiting entry or touching the aircraft in which such accident has occurred until such investigation has been carried out and authorizing any person to enter, inspect, remove, do any work necessary for its preservation or otherwise deal with the aircraft for the purpose of such investigation; and
(d) If it is necessary in the investigation of the accident, cancel or suspend or cancel or surrender the license certificate issued or recognized in accordance with this Act or prevailing laws, cause or authorize to cause to be surrendered and cause any such license to be submitted for the purpose of such investigation.
