Information to be provided to remove duplicate names

(1) A voter whose name is registered in the voter list of more than one constituency or more than one place in the same constituency shall retain his name in the voter list of one constituency or place of his choice and remove it from the voter list of other places within the period specified by the Commission Schedule-7 In the following format, if there is a duplicate within one village development committee or municipal ward, before the assistant registration officer, if there is duplication in more than one village development committee or municipal ward, through the assistant name registration officer or directly before the chief name registration officer, and if there is duplication between districts, the main name registration The commission should be informed through the officer.
(2) If a voter's name is included in the voter list of a village development committee or a related ward of a municipality within one or more constituencies, a voter of the same village development committee or a voter of the related ward of the municipality to remove the double name and maintain a single name in the voter list, as mentioned in the reason disclosure program. Within the time period, in the format as per schedule-7, if there is a duplicate within one village development committee or a municipal ward, an application can be submitted to the assistant name registration officer, and if there is a duplicate in more than one village development committee or municipal ward, an application can be made to the chief name registration officer.
(3) Even if the information or application is not received in accordance with sub-rule (1) or (2), if the Commission receives information that the name of a voter is included in the voter list of more than one constituency or place, the name of such voter is included in the voter list of the constituency or place where he has permanent residence. The Commission may issue an order to the concerned name registration officer to maintain and remove from the voter list of other constituencies or places.
