: (1) Subject to the conditions specified in the rules made under section 37 regarding the collection of additional commission or fees, the person who sends the amount from the check through the post office to the person specified in the order. If the payment cannot be made, he can make the payment back to himself or make the payment to another person according to his instructions.
(2) If both the recipient and the sender of the check are not found, and if neither the sender nor the recipient makes a claim within a period of 1 year from the date the check was sent, no claim will be made to the Government of Nepal for the amount after that period has passed.
