(1) If the owner of the goods related to the offense punishable under this Act is not found, the investigating officer shall post a notice in a place where everyone can see it, giving a deadline of fifteen days to come and claim the goods.
(2) If anyone has a claim on the seized goods according to sub-section (1), the investigation by the Director General shall be submitted to the office of the Prime Minister and the Council of Ministers, and if the investigation has been conducted by other investigation officers, it shall be submitted to the Director General for decision.
(3) If there is no claim on the goods seized according to sub-section (1) or if there is a decision from the office of the Prime Minister and the Council of Ministers or the Director General, such goods will belong to the Government of Nepal.
