Section 96
Influencing the securities market
Any person who does any of the following by himself or in connivance with others to directly or indirectly influence securities transactions shall be deemed to have influenced the securities market:-(a) Issued by a company with the intention of encouraging anyone to buy or sell securities or not to buy or sell securities. increasing the market value of securities issued by a company, (b) reducing the market value of securities issued by a company with the purpose of encouraging anyone to buy or sell securities or not to purchase or sell securities, (c) with the purpose of encouraging anyone to buy or sell securities or to purchase or sell securities To stabilize the market value of the securities issued by a company.
