5A.1 Someone who can have an adverse effect on humans, animals, plants, the environment, culture and people's life, any 'seeds of a particular species or genetically modified organisms (genetically modified organisms) or living modified organisms (living modified organisms) or sterile seeds (terminator seeds) ) shall carry out a risk analysis as prescribed before export or import. 15A.2 Based on the risk analysis conducted in accordance with sub-section 15A.1, the Government of Nepal may ban the export or import of seeds that are not suitable for export or import by publishing a notice in the Nepal Gazette. 15A.3 Notwithstanding anything written elsewhere in this section, this Act shall not be deemed to prevent the study and research of seeds of the nature mentioned in Section 15A.1 with the permission of the Ministry. 15A.4 When applying for permission according to subsection 15A.3, a brief introductory description of such seeds shall be included.
