Section 71
Deposit collection
(1) The bank shall accept deposits of the Government of Nepal or other bodies designated by the Government of Nepal. (2) When accepting deposits according to sub-section (1), the bank shall perform such functions as accepting funds, making payments, operating accounts and providing other bank services. (3) ) The bank may grant rights to commercial banks and financial institutions to carry out transactions as per sub-section (2) as per the requirement by complying with the conditions set by the bank.
