The work, duties and rights of Private Sector Seed Testing Laboratory will be as follows:-
(a) To test the samples of seeds by taking the service fee as approved by the committee.
(b) Providing the results of the test to the concerned parties in the format as per schedule-14.
(c) At least ten percent of the samples received in the laboratory should be sent to the Central Seed Testing Laboratory for testing.
(d) Test the intermediate sample sent by the Central Seed Testing Laboratory and send a report.
(e) To implement the technical suggestions and instructions received from the Central Seed Testing Laboratory.
(f) After guard sample testing, to store the seeds in a safe manner so that the quality of the seeds is maintained for at least one year.
(g) To comply with the conditions specified in the license regarding the operation of the seed testing laboratory.
(h) To implement the suggestions and instructions given by the committee and the center.
