(1) From the date of commencement of this Act, ownership of all private forests in the State of Nepal shall be transferred to the Government of Nepal.
(2) Acts, questions, charters or any other document which is intended to be a monopoly of any person in the said forest shall be repealed from the date of commencement of this Act.
(3) The laws applicable in relation to government forests shall also apply to the forests transferred to the Government of Nepal as per sub-section (1) from the date of commencement of this Act.
