Section 27
Power to make rules
: (1) The Council may make rules to carry out the purposes of this Act.
(2) Without having any adverse effect on the generality of the rights given in sub-section (1), the Council may make rules in particular on the following subjects:
(a) Code of Professional Conduct for Legal Practitioners,
(B) hearing of complaints and other procedures related to violations of the Code of Conduct,
(c) Internal Procedure of the Council,
(d) Procedures of various committees formed under the Council (e) Provisions for determining the question of disqualification of councillors,
(f) Provisions related to application fees and certificate of registration fees to be given to legal practitioners,
(g) Arrangements regarding the appointment and service of the employees of the Council,
(h) Provisions relating to funds, accounts and audit of the Council (i) Provisions related to the work and the conditions to be followed by the person who has received the certificate for auditing in the Jada Court.
(3) The rules made by the Council under clauses (a), (b) and (j) of sub-section (1) shall come into force only after approval by the Supreme Court.
