: (1) The Ministry shall appoint the required number of inspectors on the recommendation of the committee to investigate and inspect whether the producers, importers, suppliers and distributors have not complied with this Act or the regulations made under this Act or the Government of Nepal. Employees who are in service can be assigned to work as inspectors after taking the approval of the relevant body.
(2) The qualification required for the inspector shall be as prescribed.
(3) In relation to whether producers, importers, suppliers and distributors have complied with the provisions mentioned in this Act or the rules made under this Act, the inspector shall inspect and investigate as prescribed and submit the report to the committee.
(4) Apart from what is written in sub-section (3), the other duties, duties and rights of the inspector shall be as prescribed.
