To be appointed to the post of inspector according to section 14 of the Act, a civil servant who has passed at least bachelor's degree in agricultural science from a recognized educational institution and has obtained at least five years of experience in quarantine-related work as an officer working in the crop protection group of the Nepal Agricultural Service or as a technical assistant in the same service group. Must be an employee.
