Rule 25
Other duties, duties and rights of the inspection officer
: In addition to the duties, duties and rights mentioned in Section 3D of the Act, the other duties, duties and rights of the inspection officer shall be as follows:-
(a) In the course of inspection, examination or investigation, if it is found that any goods of poor quality or adversely affecting the health of consumers are being sold, distributed or provided services, to take a sample of such goods or goods used in the service business to the extent necessary for laboratory testing and such samples shall not differ in quality. Sealing in a safe manner according to the nature of the goods by completing the prescribed procedure,
(b) Prohibition for thirty days on the sale and distribution of items sampled in accordance with clause (a). (c) To seal the place of production, sale or distribution of such goods or services if it is found that any goods or services are produced or sold or distributed contrary to the Act or these regulations,
(d) If it appears that a person who has committed any act contrary to the Act or this regulation may escape or escape, or if it appears that the investigation will be adversely affected if he is not apprehended immediately, arrest him with the permission of the investigating officer in accordance with the prevailing law,
(e) During the investigation, the suspected person shall be booked after completing the procedure according to the prevailing law, released on bail or surety, and if the bond or surety cannot be given, detained according to the prevailing law.
