(1) Nepal Government may give necessary instructions to local bodies regarding waste management. Can give instructions on:-

(a) To adopt measures and techniques to reduce waste at source,

(b) To adopt the methods and procedures prescribed by the local body regarding the reuse and recycling of waste for the minimization of waste,

(c) To separate the waste at the source, the designated place for the separated waste , to issue according to the time and manner,

(d) to pay the specified service fee at the specified time,

(e) To perform other necessary tasks related to waste management.

(3) According to sub-rule (1) it shall be the duty of the concerned local bodies and the person, organization or body producing waste to comply with the instructions given by the Government of Nepal.< /p>
