If a complaint is made to the Commission, or if the Commission receives information of any kind, that any person, by showing intimidation, threat, fear or terror, or by any other form of undue influence, has done any work of election in any constituency or polling station, or any work affecting the fairness and independence of the work of polling. The Commission may immediately conduct an investigation in this regard by a Commissioner, Secretary or any other officer authorized by the Commission.
(2) If the Commission is convinced from the report of investigation made by the Commission in accordance with sub-section (1) that any work of election is not free and fair, it may declare such matter and cancel the election of such constituency or the voting work of any or all polling stations of such constituency.
