Section 24
Other activities not to be done in election campaigning

(1) No one shall print or use or cause to be printed any type of poster, wall writing, sign, banner, digital display, except for distribution of general leaflets of the size and color prescribed by the Commission for the purpose of publicizing the election.
(2) No pamphlet shall be pasted or caused to be pasted or written or caused to be written on any religious, archaeological, historical, government, public or private building, monument, wall or structure for election related propaganda.
(3) When preparing pamphlets for election-related propaganda in accordance with sub-section (1), they should not be prepared without mentioning the name and address of the printing press and the political party or person ordering the printing.
(4) The sound system shall not be used in meetings or gatherings held for the purpose of publicizing elections or for the purposes of conveying information for such meetings or gatherings. (6) Candidates or election representatives or any other person should not spread propaganda in such a way as to adversely affect the dignity of the Commission.
(7) The commission, election officer or monitor may impose a fine of up to twenty five thousand rupees on those who act contrary to sub-section (1), (2), (3), (4), (5) or (6).
(8) If a political party, candidate, election representative or any other person uses or causes any leaflet, poster, wall writing, sign, banner, digital display contrary to sub-section (1) or (2), the officer under sub-section (7) shall remove such leaflet, poster , wall writing, posters, banners, digital displays will be confiscated and the place where such leaflets, posters, wall writings, posters, banners, digital displays are used will be ordered to be repaired.
