(1) In accordance with this Act or other prevailing laws, the decision-making authority must make a decision within a certain period of time in accordance with the prevailing law.
(2) If a decision cannot be made within the period as per sub-section (1) due to the lack of necessary facts, information or evidence, the decision-making authority shall make an open decision. The information should be given to the officer one level above you as soon as possible.
