(2) If the chief officer of the concerned airport displays a notice allowing the general public to travel within such area for a certain period of time, it shall be considered as having been granted permission to enter such restricted area for the purpose of this sub-section.
(3) A person who enters the prohibited area contrary to sub-section (2) may be fined up to two hundred rupees by order of the chief officer of the concerned airport. 10b. Searching the body or baggage of a passenger or any other person: (1) Section 9A. (3) During the search of the passengers and drivers in accordance with sub-section (1), any firearm (of all types) that looks like a real firearm or is misleading, other than deadly weapons (including swords, machete, knives) or explosives (bombs, grenades, bullets, If gunpowder etc.) is recovered, it should be done as follows:-
(a) If such firearm or explosive substance is illegal, the passenger or personShe will be arrested and handed over to the police for legal action.
(b) For concealing or attempting to hide such firearms, fake firearms, other deadly weapons or explosives, even when questioned, without giving information, or as deemed appropriate by the chief officer of the airport or an employee authorized for such work or by the police or security officer, To send fake firearms, lethal weapons or explosives to the chief driver (commander) of the aircraft, or to stop it and let the passenger or driver go only, or to stop the passenger or driver and carry out necessary investigations, only if he is satisfied that there is no criminal intent. It will be allowed to carry firearms or explosives.
(4) A person who violates section 9A. If there is any information or reason to suspect that a person has entered or is about to enter the airport or any of its restricted areas by carrying any type of firearm, fake firearm, deadly weapon or explosive substance for the purpose of committing a criminal offense under or under any other prevailing Nepalese laws, the chief officer of the airport or an employee authorized by him for that work or a security officer or a police officer or military officer deployed for the security of the airport may search the body of such person and the belongings with him without a warrant and if any such firearm, other weapon or explosive substance is recovered, take necessary investigation and action The police will take over.
(5) In the course of performing his duties, any employee in good faith does not allow or prevent anyone to board an aircraft in accordance with this section or to enter any prohibited area of ​​the airport, even if the flight time of the aircraft is delayed or any damage is caused, the said employee shall not have any legal liability to anyone for the same. . Explanation: For the purpose of this clause, “drivers” shall include flight engineers, radio officers, flight navigators, air hostesses, flight attendants and pursers.
